Robin's Egg Blue Stargazer Lily

I suppose I'm what you'd call a reluctant minimalist. Not by choice, mind you, but more a result of living in a series of remarkably tiny apartments. So when my sister insisted on getting me a housewarming gift for my latest shoebox of a flat, I braced myself for something wholly impractical. What she presented, however, was a delightful surprise: a ceramic flower, wall mounted via a clever keyhole design. "It's wall art decor!" she proclaimed, clearly proud of her thoughtful selection.

This wasn't some tacky imitation flower, though. It was a modern artwork, a medium-sized bloom in the most delicious shade of Robin's Egg Blue. The sculpted petals unfurled in a striking Stargazer Lily form, each one painstakingly shaped and glazed to perfection. I couldn't help but admire the craftsmanship as I hung it pride of place above my dinette set. A simple pleasure, yes, but in a space-starved existence, sometimes the smallest things can spark the most joy.
